Design and technology
The Design and technology curriculum aims to inspire children to become curious, creative and innovative thinkers with a broad understanding of how products are designed and made; we want them to think like designers and engineers. The intention is for children to develop the confidence to generate ideas, identify problems, plan and create products, and evaluate these and the processes used to make them.
We use Kapow Primary to support our delivery of the Design technology curriculum. This gives children an idea of how design and technology shape the way they live, work and interact with the world. It also encourages them to become resourceful, enterprising individuals who have the skills to contribute to and improve the world around them.
