Athlete Visit! How Joe Roebuck inspired us to think like champions!

We were very excited to arrange for an inspiring athlete to visit the children at school. Joe Roebuck is an Olympic swimmer who has represented Great Britain throughout his career, amassing a total of 21 national medals, as well as being crowned British champion 10 times between 2005 and 2014. He is a fantastic role model who showed the children the power of hard work, perseverance, grit and resilience. Joe visited the school, delivering an inspiring assembly as well as motivating the children in a sport-filled afternoon.

The children were sponsored to complete a fun fitness circuit alongside Joe. The money raised will be used to buy new sports equipment to support greater physical activity in school at break times and lunch times.
